The past year was marked by changes in competition policy in Poland. The amendment of the competition law was first approved by the Polish parliament and next signed by the Polish president. A draft of a new strategy concerning the competition policy for 2014–2018 was also published.
Four of the decisions made by UOKiK in the past year are particularly worth noting. Two of them concerned concentrations cleared under conditions, one dealt with bid rigging and one was related to predatory pricing.
